Showcasing my ability to research and write about complex scientific topics in the voice of an expert, this ghostwritten blog post for a medical clinic explores the possible causes of prostate cancer and provides evidence based on scientific research refuting the idea that TRT causes prostate cancer.
This article required extensive research of peer-reviewed articles and consultation with the primary subject matter expert at the medical clinic. The SME was impressed with the article and excited to publish it.
This portfolio post was written for a design-build firm in Dallas and showcases my ability to write in a conversational, fun-yet-professional style for upscale clients.
I wrote all the content for this brand essentials document, a document my previous agency created for rebranding clients. The document includes taglines, headlines, and other snippets of content that can be used in ads, on websites, in print materials, and in other marketing materials.
I wrote all of this content based on three meetings with the client during which myself and my colleague asked extensive questions about the brand, the owner, the purpose of the rebrand, the short-term and long-term goals of the firm, and a variety of other factors.
This piece showcases my ability to apply the higher-level strategic and critical thinking skills required to take an existing brand and navigate the complexities of creating a new brand (in the form of content) without that brand yet existing, all while interfacing directly with C-suite clients.
I wrote all the content for a website owned by a 3PL firm. Their previous website had little content, and the client was uncertain where to begin.
For this project, I did the following:
- Created a content strategy for the website
- Developed a sitemap and menu titles
- Researched and assigned keywords to every page
- Wrote each page, including meta descriptions, title tags, and URLs

I wrote all the content for this website, owned by a medical equipment firm. I worked extensively with subject matter experts to learn about X-ray products and services to write compelling copy for the site.
The president of the company and the marketing director were both extremely happy with how the website turned out and how the copy read: southwestxray.com
I wrote an article for Smashing Magazine as a freelance writer that received high praise from all editors/reviewers at the magazine: smashingmagazine.com/2018/02/content-marketing-wordpress-tips-plugins
